Need for a Seemandhra-centric leader

Following the bifurcation of the State, the situation has so arisen that any benefit to Telangana would result in a minus to Andhra Pradesh and vice-versa.

But justice to both regions is just not possible given the animosity on both sides at all levels and strata of society.

There is a huge void in Seemandhra now for a leader exclusively devoted to the interests of Seemandhra.

Chandrababu’s hopes of getting back to power in Telangana in 2019 might prove to be a stumbling block in realizing the potential of the new state of Andhra Pradesh. His ‘two-eye’ policy resulted in the bifurcation and if he continues in the same vein now, people of neither region would stand to benefit.

Chandrababu should make up his mind once and for all on whether he wants to serve Seemandhra or Telangana. Choosing both regions is like wanting to be the Prime Minister of both India and Pakistan.

As for Jagan, he has been tight-lipped so far on Telangana and has remained a passive spectator to the bifurcation, much to the disappointment of his fans.

Nevertheless, Jagan has also expressed his intention of reviving his Party in Telangana and this might prove to be a compromising factor in speaking out against Telangana.

The need of the hour is for a Seemandhra leader exclusively devoted to the interests of the region and who would stand up to the injustice of the TRS and Telangana people!

Do we have such a leader?
