CPI leader Dr K Narayana on Saturday clarified that he was not drunk when he shook his legs during New Year Day celebrations conducted by city party unit on January 1.
Addressing the media, Narayana said, “I am also a human-being and not an animal to be away from our culture and traditions. I honour our culture and traditions and dancing with children to celebrate the New Year 2016 is not at all wrong”, he said.
He also criticized Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for doing good and bad simultaneously.
While Ayutha Chandi Yagam was good, purchasing political leaders and encouraging defections for MLC polls was bad, he added. Chada Venkat Reddy also found fault with the TRS Government for ‘poaching’.
