Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday asserted that Visakhapatnam city would be developed into a dynamic city in the days to come.
Addressing a press conference at Secretariat here after his return from cyclone ravaged Vizag city, he said that corporate sector has come forward to help the victims. The Government will some areas to them for adoption and development, he said.
In two to three days essential commodities at low cist will be supplied to all people in Vizag, Naidu said.
Naidu said that the government released Rs 5,000 cr for Farmers Empowerment Centre to provide help to farmers in the state. It is decided to build up new colonies in Vizag in coordination with corporate sector, he said.
Naidu also said that normalcy being restored with the help of people shown their solidarity with officials and the government.
He said that 7 lakh acres of crops and 41,000 houses were damaged in the cyclone. All three districts hit by terror cyclone are gradually coming out of bad situation he said.
The CM maintained that the government will keep its promise of crop loan waiver and Dwcra loans.
