New Delhi: Politicians and journalists might have a love-hate relationship at times and ‘you scratch my back, I will scratch your’s’ kind of relationship at times.
But the fact remains that the politicians being the shrewder ones among both the tribes, they know exactly how to win over the journalists and get them to see their way.
Now, Venkaiah Naidu has wooed the journalistic fraternity, especially the television crews by making press enclosures where the leaders and ministers give sound bytes in Parliament House Complex air-conditioned.
Of course, both the enclosures near Gate 1 and Gate 4 within the complex have seen gradual changes being done. First, it was installation of water coolers and stand fans.
Last week, Venkaiah dropped by at Gate 1 enclosure and made sure that the air conditioning was installed ASAP. Goes without saying, the media are totally happy with the gesture as it has come at an appropriate time for them.
