Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would have to sell red sander stocks and borrow loans from profit-making corporations to mobilise funds for the loan waiver scheme.
The Kotaiah Committee on the Farm Loan Waiver here on Monday submitted its report, making such recommendations.
The Committee reportedly incorporated guidelines on the issue of Farm Loan Waiver in its report. It reportedly recommended waiver of Rs one lakh on crop loan and Rs 50,000 on gold loans obtained by farmers.
The committee advised the Chandrababu Naidu government to sell confiscated red sanders stocks and bonds to clear farm loans.
It also recommended to the government to extend one loan waiver to each family.
Now, Naidu will send the report to the RBI to get clearance to implement the loan waiver scheme.
