Naidu To Dig Out Irregularities In YSR Rule!

It looks like Telugu Desam Party president and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is planning to dig out various irregularities allegedly taken place during the previous Y S Rajasekhara Reddy government, with an obvious intention to embarrass the YSR Congress party chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.

The AP Cabinet which met on Saturday observed that several irregularities had taken place during the 10-year Congress rule including those in the housing corporation.

The Cabinet had unanimously agreed to order for a vigilance inquiry into these irregularities where several thousand of crores of rupees were misused.

The Cabinet sub-committee that was formed to go into these irregularities submitted its report today and the Cabinet has thoroughly discussed the report. In the name of saturation, large amount of funds were misused in the housing corporation.

"Funds were drawn without constructing 14 lakh houses. And after the inquiry this money will be recovered from the persons responsible under the Revenue Recovery Act," Minister Atchen Naidu said.

In other cases, even the names of the beneficiaries of the houses are not mentioned. Under binami names the Congress leaders have allotted these houses to their followers. "All such issues will thoroughly probed," Atchen Naidu said.
