Naidu still has no chambers in Secretariat!

It is nearly three months since N Chandrababu Naidu took over as Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, but he still does not have a chamber in the State Secretariat.

According to sources, it will take another month to Naidu to discharge his duties from the Secretariat chambers, thanks to the officials for taking more time than required to complete to spruce up the new office on VIII floor in L Block in Andhra Pradesh Secretariat.

Presently, the Chief Minister is attending to official duties from the allotted Lake View Guest House near Raj Bhavan. Naidu, who has been on releasing spree of whitepapers on various issues, will shift to the new chambers in L Block of the Secretariat probably by October 1.

The officials concerned have taken every care with regard to providing fool-proof security besides spending adequate funds for total renovation of the Chief Minister’s office.

Earlier, the officials spruced up the premises and office space at South H Block but Naidu later rejected it.

At the directive of Naidu, this time Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao is learnt to have taken every care to ensure to modify and modernize the office in accordance with Vaasthu norms.

It is pertinent to note that the IT savvy Chief Minister’s office will no doubt comprise modern equipment of Wi-Fi and 4G and other IT enabled services. Naidu is planning to begin functioning from the new premises once it is completely ready by October 1, Secretariat sources said.
