Naidu Speeches Removed From Social Media?

The Telugu Desam Party has allegedly removed the speeches of its president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu made before elections from its website and also social media, so that people would not question him on the non-implementation of pre-election promises.

This was alleged by YSR Congress party on Sunday. Party spokesman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy said the TDP has been distorting its own election promises and making every effort to boast that it has fulfilled all election promises though it was found wanting on all counts.

"Lokesh has been telling that the Party has never promised to give government jobs and it has resorted to unethical practices of removing the video clippings of Chandrababu Naidu, election speeches and the manifesto from public glare,” he said.

During electioneering Chandrababu Naidu has promised time and again that he would provide one job per family failing which unemployment stipend of Rs 2,000 would be given. Of the 1.75 crore houses in the state the stipend works of 1.08 lakh crores for the 31 months of TDP rule.

“In an unethical practice that the TDP has removed from social media all election speeches of Chandrababu Naidu where he has promised one job per family and a stipend of Rs 2,000 per month for unemployed and has even removed the election manifesto from its own party website.  But we have all the material with us and will distribute as and when required,” he said.
