Telugu Desam Party president and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday gave a shock to party leader Panchumarti Anuradha, by removing her name from the list of candidates under Governor’s quota, as she was not inclined to become MLC under MLA quota.
Anuradha was nominated for MLC post under MLA quota, but she was not interested in it as the term was only for two years, and asked party leadership to nominate her under Governor quota.
The party president was upset following the reported rejection of nomination papers of Anuradha.
Chandrababu Naidu reported to have prepared candidates for MLC posts under governor quota and it was reported that the name of Anuradha was not included in it.
In place of Anuradha, another party leader B Ravichandra Yadav was nominated for the MLC post.
The party high command has finalized the names of the four candidates for MLC posts under governor quota.
Party senior leader Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy was among the four candidates. The others were: T D Janardhan, Srinivasulu and B Ravichandra yadav.
