It's time Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his Telangana counterpart K Chandrasekhar Rao to shake hands and share their thoughts on the issues plaguing both the states.
Both Naidu and KCR will be meeting at the inter-state council meeting called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday.
While Naidu is landing from Russia, KCR will be going to Delhi on Friday evening. Both of them will get a chance to have one-on-one meeting on Saturday evening.
It has been a long time since both Naidu and KCR met each other. In the recent past, there have been confrontations between both the states on various issues like Krishna water sharing, division of High Court, Ease of Doing Business controversy, division of assets of various offices listed in Schedule IX and X of the AP Reorganisation Act etc. However, they have not gone to the extent of serious differences.
When KCR met Governor E S L Narasimhan on Thursday evening and sought his intervention in resolving the issues between the two states, he advised him to have a direct talk with Naidu in Delhi.
May be, we will get another photo opportunity of KCR and Naidu shaking hands in Delhi again!
