Naidu Is Nothing Short Of Chameleon!

Naidu Is Nothing Short Of Chameleon!

Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu can even beat a chameleon in changing colours quickly.

This was once again proved with his alliance with the BJP, forgetting the past. Perhaps, Naidu might have thought the people’s memory is short.

However, media does not want to leave him just like that and within minutes of his announcement on alliance with BJP, there were comments circulated on social media network, recalling his statements in the past.

Some of the comments made by Naidu in the past are:

  • Alliance with BJP was the biggest mistake of my life. Such a situation will never arise again: Naidu at a convention of minorities on September 27, 2012.
  • I am apologising to Muslims for making that mistake. There will not be any alliance with any communal forces in future: Naidu at TDP’s Mahanadu on May 28, 2011.
  • Modi’s effect will not be there in AP. In 2014 elections, regional parties will show their strength and a third alternative will emerge at the Centre. Modi has done nothing new in Gujarat. He has only replicated what I did when I was chief minister: Naidu with reporters on June 11, 2013.
  • We lost elections (in 2004) because of Gujarat riots: Naidu with reporters in March, 2012.
  • Unless Modi is removed, we will be guilty of eroding public confidence and failing to provide just and fair governance to the citizens of the country. The nation could not be held hostage to the partisan and short-sighted agenda of some misguided bodies or individuals: Unanimous resolution of TDP politburo on April 11, 2002.

And there is also a note media managements:

Please ensure that your reporters do not develop the habit of preserving old scribbling pads.
