Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who has been following the Narendra Modi’s Gujarat model for development, has now started imitating Jayalalithaa model for welfare schemes to woo poor people.
The Naidu cabinet on Friday decided to set up “Anna canteens” across the State on the lines of “Amma canteens” in Tamil Nadu, where breakfast and meals at a heavily subsidized price would be provided to the poor people.
The scheme has fetched a lot of mileage to the Jayalalithaa government in the recent Lok Sabha elections.
Naidu set up a cabinet sub-committee would be set up to study the Amma canteens in Tamil Naidu and replicate the same model in AP.
Looks like Naidu has no original ideas to woo people!
