The file related to the inter-districts transfer of nearly 800 teachers in Andhra Pradesh, is still pending with the Education Ministry headed by Ganta Srinivasa Rao.
The file has been sent to Chandrababu Naidu twice who has rejected it on both occasions. There is a lot of pressure piling up on Ganta from the MLA’s of various constituencies who had recommended the teachers from their areas.
Ganta is believed to have asked Labour Minister Atchan Naidu to put in a word to Naidu for signing the file.
Does this indicate that Ganta no longer curries any favor with Chandrababu or does it mean that Atchan Naidu has more influence with Chandrababu than Ganta?
Ganta is also believed to have told the respective MLA’s regarding the transfers that he apprised Atchan Naidu of the situation.
