YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Friday wondered whether Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu had any brains at all.
Making serious comments against Naidu, the YSRC president said while he was referring to a bigger scandal in the usurping of Agrigold properties, the chief minister sought to project as if it was an issue between him (Jagan) and agriculture minister Prattipati Pulla Rao, who allegedly bought the properties of Agrigold at a cheaper rate.
“Pulla Rao is just a tip of the whole iceberg. I don’t have anything personal against him. I took his example while trying to explain the magnitude of the Agrigold scam. But Naidu sought to divert the issue by projecting as if I was targetting Pulla Rao, saying either the minister or I should remain in the House. Does he have brains at all?” Jagan asked.
He said he had all the documentary evidence to prove that the TDP leaders, including Naidu’s son Lokesh, had usurped Agrigold properties.
“When I was trying to point out the same, my mike was cut-off. I just wanted 20 minutes time to produce the evidence in the House. But I was not given the chance and Naidu tried to divert the whole issue,” he alleged.
