Naidu Biopic To Have Fights, Songs!

Chandrodayam, the proposed biopic on Andhra Pradesh chief minister and Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu, is not a documentary film, but a full-fledged feature film with all ingredients of a commercial masala film.

According to a report published in the website of a national daily which quoted film maker Pasupuleti Venkata Ramana, there would be no lead character in the film which resembled Naidu.

The story revolves around four journalists and their girlfriends, who get inspired from a mass leader who came from a humble background to rise to the level of the chief minister.

“Though Naidu is not visible, his character is present in every frame,” he told the daily.

Venkata Ramana went on to say that there would be a comedy track in the film, villainy and also fights. Comedy track is run by Brahmanandam, while Jayaprakash Reddy would play the role of villain. There would be six songs in the film, including the title song that portrays Naidu’s life.

Background score is given by music director Raj Kiran. Other actors in the film are Tanikella Bharani and Ravi Babu, he said.
