Naidu Big Hurdle In High Court Division

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is allegedly obstructing efforts of division of the High Court, denying power, water shares to Telangana as per AP Reorganisation Act.

This was mentioned by Telangana Finance Minister Etela Rajender who launched a blitzkrieg on Chandrababu Naidu for coming in the way of development of Telangana State on Friday.

Rajender clarified to BJP member NVSS Prabhakar’s allegation that the State government failed to show place to accommodate the High Court when the Centre asked.

He also opposed the BJP member’s argument that despite Union Law Minister Sadananda Gowda writing a letter in this regard, the State Government did not respond since four months.

The minister suggested to Prabhakar to exert pressure on the Centre for speedy division of the HC and other issues.

He also alleged that Naidu was proving himself of showing deliberate attempts against TS development. Naidu has been violating AP Reorganisation Act and not heeding to Centre, expert committee recommendation and Governor ESL Narasimhan’s advice on contentious issues, he said.

Under the circumstances, the BJP member should use his good offices with the Centre and ensure that Prime Minister Narendra Modi takes a final call avoiding delay on the issues, he said.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao time and again urged the Prime Minister in a smooth manner to find solution to HC division, disputes related to water and power share, he said.

“As the TD and BJP are allies, the Centre was not coming to our rescue”, Rajender lamented.
