Naidu absent, Pavan Kalyan rejects survey

The intensive household survey conducted by the Telangana government on Tuesday received some interesting response from political leaders and other VIPs.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his family members were not present in the house when the enumerators visited their house.

While Naidu had been to the State Assembly to participate in the budget session, his family members were out of city. However, Naidu’s personal assistants who were present at the House provided all the details asked in the survey to the enumerators.

However, sources says that cine star Pavan Kalyan and former TRS MP Vijaya Shanti refused to participate in the survey and sent back the enumerators. The GHMC officials said they would visit their houses again to collect the details.

Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao participated in the Intensive Household Survey.

The enumerators led by GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar went to the camp office of KCR and collected the details of him and his family members. KCR's son and IT Minister K Tarakarama Rao and other family members were present during the survey.

Similarly, Deputy Chief Ministers - Dr T Rajaiah and Mahmood Ali themselves gave the details to the enumerators when they visited their houses in Station Ghanpur and Hyderabad respectively.  

All ministers of Telangana cabinet also registered their details in the survey. DGP Anurag Shama and other top officials also provided the details to the enumerators.
