Mudragada Vows To Teach Lesson To Naidu!

Kapu strongman and former minister Mudragada Padmanabham, who called off his fast late on Tuesday, has vowed to teach a fitting lesson to Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu for humiliating him and his family members.

“I have never witnessed such a humiliation in my life. The police had broken open the doors of my house, dragged my wife and son into the jeep and abused us in filthy language. I was kept in the hospital room which was like a jail and was cut off from the outside world. There was no TV; not even a newspaper in the room. I was not allowed to know what was happening outside, as no one was allowed to meet me. This is undemocratic,” he said.

He said he had lost all the energy and patience to fight. But after seeing the support from his well-wishers, “I have determined to fight against the Chandrababu government till the demands are met,” he said.

YSR congress party spokesman Ummareddy Venkateshwarlu said the way Mudragada’s wife, daughter-in- law, son and other members were treated was shameful.

“He resorted to fast only after the government went back on its word that there would be no arrests after the Tuni incident. The state had picked up people from Amalapuram which provoked him to go on hunger strike and there was no need for the state to keep him aloof,” he said.
