Mudragada Launches Coconut Protest!

Mudragada Launches Coconut Protest!

Having failed in his attempt twice to take out padayatra in the Konaseema area demanding reservations to Kapus under BC quota, former minister and Kapu strongman Mudragada Padmanabham came out with yet another idea to highlight the issue.

On Sunday, Mudragada called upon all the Kapu activists to break coconuts in all the temples across the state on January 31, to recall the spirit of massive Kapu rally held in Tuni on the same day last year, which witnessed massive unrest by the youth leading to violent incidents after the meeting.

“We all know that Chandrababu Naidu had promised to implement reservations to Kapus during the 2014 elections and came to power. Subsequently, he forgot to fulfil his promise.

And whenever I tried to highlight the issue through Gandhian method of agitation, the Naidu government crushed the agitation and silenced our voice.

So, let us all worship to the god by breaking coconuts in as many temple as possible and pray that He grant noble mind to Naidu,” Mudragada said.

Will this idea work?
