With the TRS 'Operation Akarsh' is still active and some of the disgruntled Telugu Desam Party leaders from Telangana are evincing interest to join the ruling party for greener pastures, TDP supremo and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu seems to be in a quandary.
Following the defection of Ibrahimpatnam MLA Manchireddy Kishan Reddy into the TRS, the TDP leadership is worried as to how to protect the party in Telangana.
Naidu is slated to address a public meeting at Mahbunagar on Thursday to strengthen the party. And just a day later, some three TDP MLAs, if not more, are all set to switch loyalties to the TRS, which is a mind-boggling situation for Naidu.
Speculations are rife that two more MLAs from the TD are expected to join the TRS on the same day, including Prakash Goud and M Krishna Rao, MLAs of Rajendranagar and Kukatpally respectively. And Naidu is struggling to save the party!
