Actor-turned-producer, former MP Manchu Mohan Babu is understood to have decided to join the Bharatiya Janata Party, along with his daughter Lakshmi.
Mohan Babu, who on Tuesday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Delhi to extend an invitation to attend marriage of his second son Manoj, was reportedly get an invitation from Modi to join the BJP.
The Prime Minister reportedly assured him that his services would be needed to strengthen the BJP in Andhra Pradesh. Apparently, Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu played a key role in bringing Mohan Babu to Modi.
“We have invited Modi for the marriage and the Prime Minister obliged and is expected to attend the function in Hyderabad on May 20,” Mohan Babu said.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi and Manoj took selfies with Modi and the photos and posted the same on net immediately and which are receiving many hits, according to information.
It may also be recalled that Mohan Babu family extended support to Modi, during his Hyderabad campaign for general elections as BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate.
