Modi Rejected Kavitha, Says TDP

Telangana Telugu Desam leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao on Wednesday ridiculed that TRS leadership made a vain bid to push Nizamabad MP K Kavitha into Union Cabinet.

Talking to mediapersons, Errabelli said the Modi Government rejected the proposal made in this regard by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

The TRS leaders now were denying to have made any such proposal or talks with Modi when the latter rejected their move. The BJP is unwilling to take the TRS into the Union Cabinet and there is no scope for Kavitha to become a minister at the Centre, he felt.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who had been to the national capital spoken on the issue but in vain, he said. He also said the TDP held a meeting with BJP leaders on Council elections and that of GHMC.

“Right now, we have no problem to go together to fight for these polls”, he maintained. He accused KCR of failing to achieve anything during his meeting with Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

He expressed concern that completion of Babli project will turn Telangana into a desert and KCR should stop making anti-people policies. Instead of taking “mad” decisions, KCR should call an all-party meeting to sort out the issue, he suggested.
