Means Are As Equally Important As The End

KCR came to power on the basis of a 'Bangaru Telangana' thereby alienating the Andhras for life, but his recent actions seem to be aimed at only consolidation of power and not a people’s state.

Winning the elections and wiping out the opposition seems to be his only aim and he is doing everything towards that end.

How else can one explain the continuing defections of opposition party politicians to the TRS?

Knowing fully well that his party lacks cadre at the grassroots level, KCR is simply luring the opposition party MLA’s with the carrot and stick approach.

If he were really confident of having the support of the people, why does he need to attract the opposition MLA’s to his fold, some of them who have had absolutely nothing to do with the Telangana movement?

Is he still not confident of winning the votes of the public in future elections, especially in Hyderabad on his own? The answer is no!

He came to power on the basis of sentiment but cannot retain it any longer on that factor. Now people expect development from him which isn’t really his cup of tea.

As for the Warangal victory, it is rumored that the public were warned that those who didn’t vote for the TRS would be left out of the 2BHK scheme. A man cannot usher in a golden age through dishonest means. This applies perfectly to KCR!

As Gandhiji said, “The means are as equally important as the end.”
