Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has once again proved his political acumen by announcing a 125 ft statue of Ambedkar at Amaravathi.
It is to commemorate the 125th birth anniversary of Dr. Ambedkar. While there is no doubt that Naidu is speaking the correct language in making this announcement, the move primarily is intended to erode the Dalit vote base of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
When it comes to solving caste equations, one has to admit that CBN has no parallel.
The way he roped in Pawan Kalyan to capture the Kapu vote bank and the way he is now setting about wooing the Dalits is too good.
No wonder then that YS Jagan despite such a huge charisma is finding the going tough. Ambedkar anyhow is a better option than NTR! Better a Dalit than someone from Naidu’s community.
