An expert team of architects from Singapore had visited the areas where the proposed capital city of Andhra Pradesh is expected to come up and collected soil samples from Tulluru and other villages.
Chandrababu Naidu has expressed his intentions of constructing a world-class capital with skyscrapers, international airports and what not!
However, others allege that this is a gimmick by Naidu aimed at benefitting the real-estate people, the majority of who hail from Naidu’s community.
Against this backdrop, news has emerged that the team of architects has submitted its findings. Based on the soil samples they have come to the conclusion that the soil strength does not permit the construction of skyscrapers in that area.
The report also said that the groundwater in the area is not fit for drinking. If this is indeed true, then it would be a nail in the coffin of the realtors who have invested heavily in the area of late!
There is no way that Naidu can go ahead with his plans if the findings are made public.
