KTR Son Helps Revanth Entry Into Assembly!

Telangana Telugu Desam Party legislator from Kodangal constituency A Revanth Reddy, who was suspended from the assembly for the entire budget session, had not been allowed even into the assembly premises, leave alone the lobbies, till last week.

Despite hectic lobbying by the Congress and the BJP legislators, Revanth could not gain entry into the premises and he was held back at the gate by the marshals saying he had no permission.

However, on Monday, Revanth managed to enter the lobbies of the assembly, much to the surprise of media persons and other legislators.

When Telangana Rashtra Samithi MP from Peddapalli Balka Suman spotted Revanth Reddy in the assembly lobbies, he was surprised and asked as to who had permitted him inside.

Revanth replied that he could enter the assembly lobbies because of Kalwakuntla Himanshu, son of minister K T Rama Rao and grandson of chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

“Himanshu came to know about my suspension and my attempts to enter the lobbies and recommended to his grandfather about my entry. Surprisingly, KCR obliged his grandson’s request and allowed me into the lobbies. What the fellow legislators could not do was done by the chief minister’s grandson,” Revanth said.

At the same time, the Telangana TDP leader said if the TRS had Himanshu on their side to help others, the TDP had “Devansh” (grandson of AP chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu) on their side, evoking laughter from the TRS leaders.
