The congratulatory message given by Telangana IT & Panchayati Raj Minister K T Rama Rao to his cousin and irrigation minister T Harish Rao on the resounding victory of the TRS in Narayankhed by-election has raised many eyebrows.
KTR took to micro-blogging site Twitter to congratulate his colleague Harish Rao and party’s leadership who contributed in winning in the by-election by the huge margin of over 53,000 votes.
The IT Minister tweeted, “TRS juggernaut continues to roll unabated. Thumping majority of over 50K in Narayankhed. Congrats to @trsharish & Medak TRS leadership team.”
It was rather disappointing and surprising to many party leaders as KTR should have called Harish and congratulated him directly.
In fact, the entire credit for the TRS victory in Narayankhed, supposed to be the Congress stronghold, goes to Harish Rao, who toiled day and night for the same.
Even in the twitter message, he only made a passing reference to Harish and he credited the victory to the Medak party unit.
This has clearly exposed the gap between Harish and KTR. Yet, Harish took it in a dignified manner and did not make even a small comment.
