Telangana Congress leader and former minister DK Aruna on Wednesday slammed Information and Technology Minister KT Rama Rao for his comments on Telangana Congress leaders.
Talking to mediapersons at Congress Legislature Party office here on Wednesday, Aruna said KTR studied in Andhra and got the names of Andhra leaders.
“I did not pursue my education in Andhra and got the name of an Andhra leader like KTR. Being a daughter of Telangana, I know how to respond on the government’s programs”, she said.
She also criticized the TRS leadership for trying to stifle the voice of the Opposition on power crisis, farmers’ suicides, irrigation problems and issues related to welfare schemes.
She charged Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao with failure to keep a tab on impending power crisis, she charged.
“The CM has to keep his promise of calling an all-party meeting on such key issues”, she suggested.
The Congress leader also suggested that the TRS Government should take the Opposition into confidence while implementing the schemes. The CM should not remain ignorant on his promises, she added.
