The IT Minister of Telangana state has cancelled his birthday celebrations. Following the death of 16 little children in a school bus accident at a railway track in Medak district, KTR has decided that all birthday plans be cancelled immediately. The same was announced by TRS today.
TRS members Karne Prabhakar and Bonthu Rammohan went to the Telangana Bhavan to cut a cake to mark the birthday celebrations of KTR. However, the news of the accident in Medak came in and they immediately stalled the cake cutting ceremony.
Only KTR’s followers cut a cake nominally. Immediately after that, two minutes of silence was observed by Karne Prabhakar, MLA Balraju, Eerolla Srinu, Bonthu Rammohan. They expressed their grief and solidarity for the victims and their families.
Karne Prabhakar said that the accident was the result of the negligence of the railway and bus authorities. He said that similar accidents had occurred in Maasai Peta in the past and blamed the Central government in failing to take appropriate measures.
Meanwhile, KTR had to cancel his birthday celebrations last year too following a huge accident at that time, disclose TRS members.
