If speculations doing rounds in the Telangana Congress party are to be believed, Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLA from Warangal (East) constituency Konda Surekha and her husband Konda Murali, an MLC, are likely to return to the Congress party fold sooner or later.
According to the reports, the Konda couple is not happy in the TRS as both the wife and husband have not been getting any prominence in Warangal district.
Though KCR has promised to make Surekha as the cabinet minister, she could not get a chance so far.
The couple, who once ruled the Warangal politics, do not have any hold now and they are not able to get any works done with their influence.
What is worse, their arch rival in the district Errabelli Dayakar Rao, too, joined the TRS, thereby reducing their hold over the party in the district.
With several seniors dominating them in the Warangal politics, the Konda couple has not been able to find themselves comfortable in the party.
That is precisely why the couple wants to return to the Congress, which is improving its position considerably.
The recent success of the Congress party’s public meeting at Sangareddy has given them a new hope.
On Friday night, Murali held secret deliberations with the Congress party leaders at his residence in Warangal to work out a strategy.
May be, they will take a decision on their further moves after getting some positive response from the Congress high command.
