Kiran Kumar Reddy Feels 'Humiliated'!

The last and final Chief Minister of Undivided Andhra Pradesh, Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy is said to be feeling deeply humiliated by the TDP government.

It’s well known that the AP government has extended personal invitations to all the VIPs to attend the recent foundation laying ceremony for new capital Amaravati.

The government sent ministers, who met VIPs personally, handed over invitation cards and posed for photographs for media.

In the same way, a message was communicated to Kiran last week that AP ministers Kamineni Srinivas and Ayyanna Patrudu were visiting his residence to handover invitation card. Kiran too agreed to accept the invitation since it was being sent by ministers.

But he was shocked to find a TDP MLC and two-three ‘galli leaders’ of TDP carrying invitation card to his residence.

An angered Kiran took them to task asking them is this the way to behave with a former CM, who worked for over three years during critical period when Undivided AP was boiling with separate Telangana and Samaikyandhra agitations and relinquishing CM’s post against bifurcation of AP.

He also declined to pose for photographs with these ‘chota-mota’ leaders and denied entry for media personnel to cover the event.

Political analysts summarise this episode to a typical Indian political episode where no one cares if a politician loses power.
