Kesineni Aggression Troubles Naidu!

The controversy over unauthorised running of private buses registered in Arunachal Pradesh has brought a lot of embarrassment to Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

More than the illegal operation of buses, it was the aggressive stand taken by Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas alias Nani which has landed Naidu in trouble.

Apparently, Nani was upset with the way Naidu was encouraging other private travels breaking the monopoly of his own Kesineni Travels and the way he was forced to apologise to the transport commissioner Balasubrahmanyam.

So, Nani got his colleague in Lok Sabha Konakalla Narayana write a letter to the Arunachal Pradesh government about illegal operation of buses in AP and raised the issue in Parliament. This led to the cancellation of permits of those travels by the Arunachal government.

As a result, Naidu was also forced to act on the illegally running private travels, as Nani went on attacking these operators and also transport authorities in the media.

He even found fault with transport minister K Achen Naidu for taking it easy with the whole issue.

With issue snowballing into a big trouble within the TDP, Naidu asked his son Lokesh to settle the issue.

It is learnt Lokesh asked Nani to stop talking about the travels issue, since it would give a weapon to the opposition to attack the ruling party and cause damage to the party image.

The MP explained that he would abide by the party directive, but also asked Lokesh to silence the other side.
