Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will make an aerial survey of Rachakonda hills in Ranga Reddy district on the outskirts of Hyderabad on Monday.
The aerial survey is aimed at finding a suitable place for Film City being planned by the Chief Minister.
It is being touted as the Chief Minister is on cloud nine ever since he made a visit and had a glimpse of Ramoji Film City along with his ministerial colleague Etela Rajender.
Taking a cue from the Ramoji Film City and its awe-inspiring premises, world class settings and so on, KCR gave a pat to its management and founder Ramoji Rao.
This time around, the Chief Minister is expected to take a specific survey of Rachakonda hillocks where about 2,000 acres of government land is suitable for his proposed Film City, which may come up on international standards.
Along with other ministers like P Mahender Reddy and G Jagadish Reddy and Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma, the Chief Minister is likely to take a decision to make use of the land.
This film city may boost film industry in Telangana as the State Government is involving itself in constructing such a world class film city.
