Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is likely to go to Vijaywada in a day or two to meet his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu.
Sources said KCR had sought the appointment of Naidu to call on him personally and invite him to attend the Sahasra Kunda Ayutha Chandi Yagam to be performed at his farm house in Yerravelli in Medak district from December 23.
Once the appointment gets confirmed, KCR will go to Vijayawada to meet Naidu at the latter’s camp office.
This will be the second time for KCR to go to the neighbouring State in the recent past. He went to Uddandarayunipalem on Dasara day to attend the foundation laying ceremony of Amaravati, the new capital of AP, on a personal invitation from Naidu. Both the leaders are enjoying harmonious relationship since then.
