At a time when the Bharatiya Janata Party leaders in Telangana are working out strategies to grow as an effective alternative to the Telangana Rashtra Samithi in the state, TRS president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is making every attempt to run them down by pampering the Central BJP leaders.
KCR, who has been camping in New Delhi for the last four days, is meeting all top leaders of the BJP one after the other (except of course, BJP national president Amit Shah) and is seeking their goodwill in developing the state.
For the first time, he went all the way to the residence of Union minister of state for labour Bandaru Dattatreya and sought his cooperation to develop the state.
“If Venkaiah Naidu has been extending all the support to Andhra Pradesh, you are our big brother in Telangana. We are banking on you to take the responsibility of developing the state by securing the maximum funds to various programmes,” KCR told Dattatreya.
He also met other ministers like Arun Jaitely and Rajanath Singh to discuss issues pertaining to the state. He told them that the TRS would be indebted to them, if they extend help to the state.
So, what is there for the Telangana BJP leaders to attack KCR?
