Nobody knows better than Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and first Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao how to use and throw people. It is proving right in the case of rebellious leader and Warangal (East) MLA Konda Surekha.
Surekha was expected to be inducted into the State cabinet which took oath on Monday. But, KCR conveniently ignored her and inducted Station Ghanpur MLA Dr T Rajaiah in the cabinet, besides granting him the deputy CM post.
And according to party sources, another staunch KCR loyalist and Bhoopalpalli MLA S Madhusudhana Chary would also get the cabinet post in the second phase of expansion.
In that case, the chances of Surekha making it to the Cabinet are lost, as KCR cannot accommodate three MLAs from the same Warangal district.
Perhaps, Surekha might have failed to prove her loyalty to the party and its president, as she joined the party at the last minute. And the TRS president used her influence in Warangal to get a couple of seats more and dumped her later!
