After keeping silent for more than a couple of months, Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao seems to be back with his old game of hounding the Telugu Desam Party.
The Anti-Corruption Bureau, which has kept the cash-for-vote scam under wraps for quite some after the revival of bonhomie between KCR and his AP counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu, has reopened the case once again with the submission of forensic reports by the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) confirming the voices of TDP legislators A Revanth Reddy and Sandra Venkata Veeraiah, besides Sebastian, that were recorded during the sting operation.
The FSL had taken Revanth’s speeches in the Telangana Assembly as standard to compare his voice with that of the voice recorded on video and Sebastian’s HTC mobile phone.
The officials have also done a similar test in the case of Sandra Venkata Veeraiah. It is reported that both the voices are confirmed. The Forensic team submitted its report to the ACB court.
According to latest information, the KCR government is learnt to have asked the FSL to verify the voice samples of Naidu and compare them with the voice recorded in the phone of MLA E Stephenson. If the samples are confirmed, the government can straightway seek prosecution of Naidu, say sources.
