Jana Sena chief and Tollywood hero Pawan Kalyan, who also hails from Kapu community, has cancelled his 'Sardar Gabbar Singh' film shooting in Kerala and decided to rush to Hyderabad in the wake of Kapu reservations agitation led by Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham turning violent in Tuni in East Godavari district.
Pawan is currently shooting for the film in Kochi. Jana Sena sources said Pawan Kalyan will address a press conference on this issue in Hyderabad on Monday.
Party sources said the violent incidents on Kapu reservations issue has put Pawan Kalyan in a fix unable to take a call over which stand to take, whether to support Kapus in this issue or not.
This is because Pawan was against identifying him with a particular caste and he even made public comments on this issue earlier.
But the sudden developments on Sunday, has forced Pawan to cancel the shooting and take a call on this issue.
