Telangana TDP senior leader and former minister Mothkupally Narsimhulu here on Friday reiterated his allegation that newly-inducted Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari was not an SC.
Speaking to media, Mothkupalli said he had irrefutable evidence that Kadiam was not an SC. He challenged Srihari to go to court and get clarity on his caste.
“I am not jealous of Kadiam as I have been an MLA for the past 30 years. But I have bounden duty and responsibility to protect the interests of the Dalits”, he added
He said the SCs would not keep quiet if their legitimate benefits given by the Constitution were being usurped by the non-SCs.
Mothkupalli lashed out at Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for the unceremonious dismissal of Tatikonda Rajaiah from the cabinet and replacing him with Srihari who did not belong to SC community.
“KCR’s action in dismissing Rajaiah abruptly proved his dictatorial attitude, feudal landlordism, apathy and carelessness towards the Scheduled Castes”.
Describing the Chief Minister as “inhuman”, Mothkupally demanded that KCR tender open apology to the SCs for insulting the Madigas.
