The ongoing agitation by Telangana judges in protest against the provisional allotment of judges between the two Telugu states has come as a blessing in disguise for the K Chandrasekhar Rao government which has been in trouble over Mallannasagar dam compensation issue.
Apparently realising that the agitation by judges will benefit him politically as he can exploit the Telangana sentiment again, KCR late on Monday night gave leaks to select media persons stating that he would take up dharna along with his cabinet colleagues at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi demanding rectification of anomalies in the judiciary and also speedy division of the Hyderabad High Court.
And on Tuesday, his daughter and Nizamabad MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha addressed media persons at Telangana Bhavan after a long time, turning the tables on the Opposition parties for not taking up the cause of agitating judges and lawyers.
“If you have love towards Telangana people so much, go and stage a dharna in Delhi not in villages,” she said.
The TRS president seems to have swung into action immediately on the judges issue so as to pre-empt the agitation going into the hands of the Telangana Joint Action Committee.
With KCR himself coming forward to agitate in Delhi, there is nothing that TJAC chairman Kodandaram can do now!
