Hyderabad: One remarkable feature of the GHMC polls is that the winner gets to control Hyderabad. In that context, one would have expected a bevy of stars from Tollywood to be active on the campaign trail, representing one party or the other. But there is no such thing.
The only familiar face from tinsel town in the campaign trail, happens to be that of Jeevitha Rajsekhar.
Jeevitha and Rajsekhar joined the BJP and Jeevitha was rewarded with a post in the Censor Board. She is now consolidating her position in the Party and repaying their trust in her by actively campaigning in the GHMC polls.
Since the BJP-TDP have joined hands for the polls, Jeevitha is canvassing for the candidates of both parties. And should the TDP-BJP combine manage to put up a good performance, then her services would not go in vain.
