The designs for Amaravati, the new capital of Andhra Pradesh, being prepared by the Chandrababu Naidu government have failed to convince people as he has been keeping on changing the designs every six months.
This was the opinion expressed by actress-turned-YSR Congress party legislator from Nagari constituency R K Roja on Saturday.
Roja, along with a few other YSRC MLAs, attended the power point presentation given by Capital Region Development Authority in the presence of Naidu at Velagapudi.
“First, Naidu government released a set of designs for Amaravati building and also gave a power point presentation before everybody.
We were quite amused as they created an impression among the people that Amaravati is going to be as good as any other foreign city. Later, he came up with some other designs submitted by Japanese company.
Now, he has displayed some other designs prepared by the British company. Even they do not be seem to be final, as Naidu said there could be some more changes,” she said.
So, Naidu showing Baahubali-type serial film to the people.
“He showed Baahubali-1 and later Baahubali-2. Now, he is showing Baahubali-3 to fool people,” she ridiculed.
Roja said the real people’s capital would be built by YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy once he becomes the chief minister.
“He is constructing his own in Amaravati. He is going to become the chief minister. Only then, the capital construction will pick up,” she asserted.
