Jagan tops google search: Positive or negative?

Jagan tops google search: Positive or negative?

YSR Congress party on Tuesday claimed that its president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy has topped the list of most searched politicians in Andhra Pradesh on the popular search engine Google.

According to the latest search trends released by Google, Jagan is at the top of the list of persons from Andhra Pradesh.

The data which has been collected over the last three months from Andhra Pradesh, shows that YSRCP chief has got the same number of searches as Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal.

Jagan is ahead of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and TRS leader Chandrasekhar Rao in the search numbers.

Jagan's search list from Andhra Pradesh is about half of the searches for Narendra Modi and nearly two-thirds of Kejriwal. Most of the searches were from Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and Vijaywada.

However, it is not known for what purpose people have searched for Jagan. It could be for negative reasons or positive reasons.

In the last three months, Jagan has been in the news mostly for wrong reasons such as confrontation with the police in Visakhapatnam during the proposed rally for special category status, with the IAS officer and doctors at Nandigama and the attack on the government in the assembly. He was also in the news for the MLC elections.

So, it is rather surprising on the part of the YSRC to issue the statement as if it is a great achievement. However, YSRCP also said that the official Facebook page crossed more than 3 lakh likes in 10 months which is a very good development!
