YSR Congress party would hold five public meetings to highlight the failures of the Chandrababu Naidu government, its corrupt practices and failure in getting the Special Category Status, beginning November 6 at Visakhapatnam.
A poster with the slogan Jai Andhra Pradesh and the failure of State and Central governments on the Special Category Status for the November 6 Visakhapatnam public meeting was released at the Party Central Office here on Monday by senior leaders.
Speaking on the occasion Party MLC Ummareddy Venkateswarlu said that the Chief Minister has been making tall claims but has been confined to only publicity without any performance. His government has failed on all fronts and could not fulfill any of the election promises.
"Our leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been receiving immense support from the people on all the issues he has been raising and many people were of the opinion that he should reach out to the public through public meetings.
We have chalked out a programme with five public meetings to be addressed by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and the first one would be on November 6 at Visakhapatnam," he said.
The series of public meetings would highlight the failure of Chandrababu Naidu government on all fronts, rampant corruption and the attempt to scuttle special category status.
The Vizag meeting will be attended all senior leaders and I appeal to the people to participate in large numbers and make it a great success, he said
