Jagan Slams Naidu For 'Operation Akarsh'

YSR Congress party president and Leader of Opposition in AP Assembly Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Thursday lambasted Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for luring his party leaders through “Operation Akarsh”.

He alleged that the TDP came to power as its chief carried on propaganda of lies and adopting false means.

Addressing Kadapa Corporators’ meeting, Jagan asked them to support Suresh Babu for Mayor post. He flayed the TDP Chief for encouraging defections. He also flayed the TDP for its false politics of luring their MPTCs, ZPTCs. But there was no use if a party wins the fray by doing such wrong things, he felt.

“The YSRCP believes in values and credibility”, he said and opined that it is of no use to come to power by telling lies to the people who are the real Opposition leaders.

“Had we told lies, the YSRCP would have been in power, but that is not our criteria”, he maintained. “The people will give us total majority of 160 seats to come to power next time if we stand by them”.

He lambasted Naidu for taking over reins by making false promises that cannot be implemented. Naidu literally failed to keep his promise of crop loan waiver, he criticized.

“Let us together fight for the cause of people. The Government may harass the YSRCP by filing false cases, but the people are watching the designs of the TDP Government and will teach it a lesson if the Chief Minister failed to cater to their needs, he said.
