Jagan Met Rajnath To Get Out Of CBI Case?

YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy had gone to New Delhi only to lobby with the Central leaders to bail him out of the cases filed against him by the Central Bureau of Investigation.

This was alleged by Telugu Desam Party senior leader Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy on Thursday. He ridiculed Jagan for calling on Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in connection with alleged threatening calls his party received during the recent local body elections.

“Jagan met Rajnath only to seek the latter’s help to come out of the CBI cases,” he said.

Another senior TDP leader Varla Ramaiah also alleged that the main purpose of Jagan’s Delhi trip was to urge the Centre to be lenient towards him in connection with CBI cases filed against him.

“How can a person amass lakhs of crores in just six years from 2004 when he was not in business? This was only because of his father late YS Rajasekhara Reddy who was chief minister of the State during that period,” Ramaiah added.
