Jagan Anticipating Fresh Legal Trouble?

Jagan Anticipating Fresh Legal Trouble?

"The CBI cases against me were foisted by the Congress party and I amd fighting the legal battle. What else can I do? I leave it to the God to decide my fate," was the comment made by YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy during his interaction with NRIs through Sakshi channel.

It was surprising to listen to such philosophical comments from Jagan, who is a fighter to the core. However, sources say he might have received hints from the Centre that he might have to face fresh trouble in the coming days with regard to his ongoing CBI and ED investigation into quid-pro-quo cases.

There is a talk that one of the pre-conditions of Naidu while accepting the special category status was that the Centre should ensure the noose around Jagan be tightened with regard to the CBI cases and he should be behind the bars at the time of 2019 elections. If necessary, he should be implicated in fresh cases and be disqualified to contest the elections.

That is precisely why Naidu’s bosom friend and union minister M Venkaiah Naidu has started attacking Jagan during his recent felicitation functions, by saying that people who were ready to go back to Chanchalguda jail or Tihar jail were questioning his sincerity in getting special financial package.

He even said a particular leader desperately wants to pull down Chandrababu Naidu government so that he could ascend the throne.

“Most of his party MLAs have already deserted him and it is not clear whether the remaining will be with him or not. Such a person is making comments against me,” he said.

It clearly reveals the conspiracy to throw Jagan behind the bars at the earliest. Perhaps he is aware of it and that is why he is going all out against both the Naidus, so that the party will fight back even if he is jailed.
