In an unfortunate accident at Morampudi junction in West Godavari district, three people were killed after the driver of a private bus belonging to a corporate school lost control over the wheel.
And yet, a headline in today’s TOI of the article that covered the incident says, “Three killed as school bus carrying Jagan supporters rams into car, bikes”. This is a completely irresponsible headline.
Technically, it might be right! The bus was indeed carrying people who were returning from Jagan’s two day rythu deeksha in Tanuku. But in what way were Jagan or the people inside the bus responsible for the accident?
The headline indirectly insinuates that they were somehow responsible for what happened! This is the way that the mainstream media manipulates public opinion.
