Chandrababu Naidu is crying once again! This time it is about the injustice done to Andhra Pradesh in the railway budget. But no, he will not do anything about it except for writing to the center or once again meeting Modi for some tea.
Please don’t expect him to call off his alliance with the BJP and show some self-respect for that is the only thing that politicians lack.
Naidu made an interesting comment. He said that he wanted bullet trains for the state. Now this is a really strange demand. There is no bullet train in India but Naidu at the helm of AP which does not even have money to pay its employees and which has to start from scratch all over again, wants a bullet train.
What in the name of God are you going to do with a bullet train, Naidu? The people of AP are quite content with Ratnachal, Janmabhoomi and Tirumala Express. If they are so hard pressed for time, they’ll catch a flight instead.
What the people need are a few industries that will generate employment and what farmers need is protection for their livelihood and support from the government for a healthy crop. In other words, a balanced growth!
Every student of Seemandhra irrespective of the town he is studying in ultimately has to land up in Hyderabad for a job. This misfortune should be changed at least now.
An inside source says that Naidu on his trip to Japan got to ride on a bullet train. So thrilled was he with the experience that he was screaming in delight throughout the journey! Back home, Naidu is missing that experience. Hence, his demand for bullet trains.
