Is he immune to criticism from judiciary?

Probably, no Chief Minister in India has been pulled up so many times for dereliction of duty in such a short span of time as KCR, the Chief Minister of Telangana.

The ‘High Court’ of Andhra Pradesh once again criticized KCR’s style of functioning asking him to focus on mitigating the suffering of farmers instead of just concentrating on sports personalities and celebrities.

The ‘High Court’ was responding to a petition filed by a person from Medak who requested the Court to direct the Center and State to issue a minimum compensation of Rs 10 lakh to the families of those farmers who had committed suicide.

It was during the hearing of this petition that the Court observed: “You seem to be focused only on sport personalities, celebrities and spending money on entertainment. Farmers are the food providers of the State and you should adopt a pragmatic approach to their problems.”

The judiciary also ordered the TRS government to file a comprehensive report within two weeks on steps being taken to handle the problem of farmer suicides.

The only problem is that despite repeated urging from the judiciary in the past, KCR has turned a deaf ear to their suggestions.

It is almost as if he just does not care! So, it is highly doubtful as to whether he would make an exception in this particular instance.
